So this weekend, Rachel and I went on a little shoot with my sister, brother-in-law, and their newly born kiddo. (my favorite nephew)
Anyways - it was an interesting day. It was actually our first official "photoshoot" where we needed to pose them and find locations, props, etc... It was a fun little challenge. Anyway - to add to the complication of it being a first time (and trying to photo a new born baby WITH his family) the weather decided not to cooperate either. We were dodging the rain like it was nobody's business. Take a few shots, jump under umbrellas, coverings, and trees, take a few more, dry off the seat, cover the camera, take a few more, etc... :)
All-in-all though, we had fun and they took us for some tasty dinner afterwards at Brio. I really hope they enjoy these photos along with all of the others i've taken of the little one since he's been born. Here goes...

Love these shots Uncle Aaron!
Your cutie pie Nephew decided to arrive just in time to give you plenty of practice with your new camera! You definitely have the "little guy shot" down. It's challenging when they are sooo little. Most babies are oozing fat and probably easier to photograph.
He's working hard at eventually becoming a butterball!
You both are doing a great job! Thanks!
it's also challenging to take newborn shots WITH the family (if they want to see his face and such)
should be much easier when he's almost a toddler and is able to hold himself up when he sits or people hold him and he's a little bigger and looking around.
thanks mah
Oh...and, the family shots are wonderful!!!
lol...I was about to add this comment to the first right away, and noticed your reply to mine...haha.
don't be so sure about the toddler phase...thats when they won't be still and go everywhere and pout ...grrr... :) great job on these shots!!!
